Hommage à la déception is a landscape art installation made by Paul Grégoire during the Symposium international de la sculpture held in Laval in 1990. Comprising elements of stone, painted steel and fibreglass, this installation is meant to be a visual pun on the French phrase “finir en queue de poisson.”

The conservation interventions performed by DL HERITAGE on the landscape and on the steel and fibreglass elements allowed to restore the installation’s intended visual impact.
